Welcome to Urban Home Interior. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using our website or services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Services Description
Urban Home Interior provides comprehensive interior design and renovation services including:
- Painting & POP (Plaster of Paris) work
- Electrical & Wiring services
- Wooden & Modular furniture solutions
- Tiling & Stone Work
- Plumbing & Waterproofing
- False Ceiling designs and installation
- Complete interior design consultation and execution
3. Service Agreement and Quotations
3.1 Quotations
All quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Quotations are based on the information provided by the client and site conditions at the time of assessment.
3.2 Service Agreement
A formal service agreement will be executed before commencement of work, detailing scope, timeline, materials, and payment terms. Any changes to the agreed scope will require written approval and may affect pricing and timeline.
4. Payment Terms
Our standard payment structure is as follows:
- 30% advance payment upon signing the service agreement
- 40% payment at 50% project completion
- 25% payment at 90% project completion
- 5% final payment upon project handover and client satisfaction
Payments are due within 7 days of invoice date. Late payments may incur additional charges and may result in work suspension.
5. Project Timeline and Delays
We strive to complete all projects within the agreed timeline. However, delays may occur due to:
- Weather conditions
- Material availability
- Client-requested changes
- Unforeseen site conditions
- Force majeure events
We will communicate any potential delays promptly and work to minimize impact on the project timeline.
6. Materials and Workmanship
6.1 Materials
We use high-quality materials from reputable suppliers. Material specifications will be detailed in the service agreement. Client-supplied materials are used at client’s risk and are not covered under our warranty.
6.2 Workmanship Warranty
We provide the following warranties on our workmanship:
- Electrical work: 2 years
- Plumbing work: 1 year
- Painting work: 1 year
- Wooden work: 1 year
- Other services: As specified in the service agreement
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate project information and requirements
- Ensuring site access during working hours
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals
- Making timely payments as per agreed schedule
- Protecting personal belongings during work
- Communicating any concerns promptly
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- Damage to client’s personal property not directly caused by our negligence
- Delays beyond our reasonable control
- Issues arising from client-supplied materials or specifications
9. Cancellation and Termination
9.1 Client Cancellation
Clients may cancel services with written notice. Cancellation charges may apply based on work completed and materials ordered.
9.2 Termination by Urban Home Interior
We reserve the right to terminate services in case of:
- Non-payment of dues
- Breach of agreement terms
- Unsafe working conditions
- Unreasonable client behavior
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, plans, and creative work remain the intellectual property of Urban Home Interior unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive a license to use the designs for the specific project.
11. Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality of project details. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on data handling.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through:
- Direct negotiation between parties
- Mediation if negotiation fails
- Arbitration as per Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act
- Courts in Gurugram, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or other force majeure events.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
15. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
